Pakistan
PUM aligns with the Dutch foreign policy, including the list with countries for which subsidies are available. This means that in 2024 we are phasing out our activities in ten countries, including Pakistan. This transition phase gives us the opportunity to ensure a proper handover of our work.
In this year, PUM will continue activities in the tourism hospitality sector in Pakistan, related to training, ecotourism and homestay. Additionally, we focus on projects in agriculture, horticulture, food and beverage processing, and dairy. We will also maintain collaborations with educational and vocational institutes and will execute projects with industries such as metalworking, leather, and consumer goods.
