Who are you?

You are a Bolivian national and live in the department of La Paz.

You possess a deep understanding of the structure of the Bolivian economy.

You have in-depth knowledge of the socio-economic circumstances, culture, and languages of Bolivia.

You are proficient in English and Spanish and knowledge of one of the local languages is an optional asset, yet not mandatory.

You have experience managing programmes in particulary the private sector (producers, SME’s, industry associations and cooperatives)

You have strong networking and acquisition skills, with a proven ability to connect with a wide network of Small and Medium Entreprises (SMEs).

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

You have an affinity with the Food Security sector in general.

You are comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft 365.
Being a PUM Representative
As a vital member of the PUM team, the role of representative for Bolivia is both dynamic and rewarding. You’re not just a representative, you’re an ambassador. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, nurturing relationships and facilitating impactful collaborations. Your role extends to client acquisition and network expansion, crucial for meeting the targets set for Bolivia.
What will being a PUM representative look like? You will be actively on the lookout for new clients, screening them, and supporting and assisting them. As our representative, you’re not just ensuring smooth project implementation, you’re:

Partnering with entrepreneurs, propelling their journey toward sustainable and inclusive business development.

Leaving a lasting impact on the community: socially, environmentally, and economically.

Driving towards and achieving targets set for Bolivia.
Ins and outs of the Representative role
This is a freelance position. We expect you to do this role in addition to your professional job. As compensation, you’ll receive an expense allowance of €100 per month and a performance-based reward of €400 per successful project. We prefer to hire individuals committed for up to 4 years and who are available at least 2 days a week (approximately 12 hours per week).
