The HOPE Programme

Argidius & PUM – The HOPE Programme

One of PUM’s valued partners is the Argidius Foundation, whose mission is to “help individuals, families and whole communities move away from poverty through access to decent, fulfilling and paid work”.

In South America, PUM partners with Argidius on the HOPE Programme. This joint initiative was launched in 2016 to empower SMEs in the food and food-related sectors across several targeted countries. Since 2024, the programme has focused on Bolivia, Colombia and Peru, supporting entrepreneurs to drive sustainable economic growth, create meaningful employment, and contribute to resilient local communities.

Guided by a shared vision of inclusive economic development, PUM provides technical expertise and practical insights that improve production, reduce costs, and accelerate business growth. Collaboration between entrepreneurs and PUM experts facilitates increase in annual revenue, job creation, and improved access to finance.
