PUM Representative Dalat, Vietnam
As our Representative in Dalat, you will be an vital member of the Vietnam country team. This team consists of two country managers (one in the Netherlands and one in Ho Chi Minh City), two project officers based in the Netherlands, and eight other Representatives across Vietnam. As the first point of contact for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, you promote PUM’s mission, identify potential clients, and build trust with entrepreneurs and local partners. Your strength in acquisition and networking will be key to expanding PUM’s reach and creating lasting impact. You’re not just a PUM representative, you are an ambassador!
What you’ll Do

Acquire new clients: SMEs that align with PUM’s mission in the agriculture, horticulture, food processing or tourism sector.

Partner with entrepreneurs, propelling their journey toward sustainable and inclusive business development.

Build and maintain networks with key stakeholders, including business clubs, entrepreneurs, and professionals in Dalat.

Ensure smooth project implementations, guiding entrepreneurs and experts through the process.

Deliver a minimum of 10 successful projects per year.
This is a flexible, part-time role that comes with a basic remuneration of €100 per month to cover your local travel, communication, and basic operational costs. In addition, you’ll receive €400 for every successfully completed project. While this is not a salaried position, it is a meaningful and motivating opportunity for those who want to make a long-term difference for local entrepreneurs and communities. We prefer candidates who can commit for at least four years. At PUM, we value diversity and inclusion. Who are you?

Well-connected across SMEs, business associations, institutions, and government, fostering collaboration and influence within the focus sectors of agriculture, horticulture, food processing or tourism.

Experienced, with at least 5-10 years of proven success in building and maintaining customer relationships, including strong acquisition and project management skills.

Deeply knowledgeable about the socio-economic context, language, and culture of Vietnam.

Comfortable using English in writing, speaking and facilitating discussions between clients and PUM staff.

Available to work approximately 12-16 hours per week, spread across multiple days.

Confident in using digital tools, particularly Microsoft 365.

You live in or near Dalat.
