At PUM, we believe that strengthening our collaborations with international NGOs and institutional donors is the most effective path forward. This approach gives us the opportunity to add value where we can and avoid overlap with efforts of others. To this end, we actively pursue joint proposal writing with international NGOs and institutional donors, contribute our expertise to existing programs, and aim to expand successful interventions to additional areas and countries.
Our current collaborations include working with international NGOs such as: Agriterra, GAIN, 2Scale, SNV, Solidaridad, Edukans, GIZ, Spark, Technoserve, Heifer, Cordaid and IDH.
Strengthening these partnerships is vital to PUMs goal of reaching and collaborating with more communities with growth potential.
Our NGO partners, deeply embedded in the societies of the emerging markets we collaborate in and have valuable offices in-country with programme implementation structures and staff.
Additionally, PUM plays a role in programmes funded by international organisations including the European Commission and the World Bank. This allows us to contribute to global financial and economic stability, peace and security and to join forces with international partners to address the deeper causes of poverty, climate change, conflicts and irregular migration. Cooperation with international organisations also has many advantages such as a coordinated approach, opportunities for a long-term partnership and sharing risks.
