Volunteer position
The expert role is a volunteer position. Being a PUM volunteer won’t cost you anything. The only thing we ask for, is your time and your expertise. PUM covers your travel expenses, and the client takes care of your stay and local transportation. You will also receive an expense allowance.
Nationality & Residence
PUM engages experts residing in the Netherlands, registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) and covered by Dutch primary health insurance.
Age
We greatly appreciate that you would like to be a PUM expert. You are invited to engage in volunteer work for PUM until the year in which you reach the age of 72. To ensure a minimum of two active years after registration, registration is possible up to and including the calendar year in which a person turns 69.
Professionals
PUM experts are dynamic and digitally savvy professionals. They have a track record of relevant experience in their specific field, and know how to translate knowledge into a practical plan. They are eager to operate as an adviser and sparring partner in various cultures and changing circumstances.
Language
PUM’s primary language is English. All those working and volunteering for PUM have excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. French or Spanish proficiency are very much appreciated!
